Working One-to-One is an essential training course for anyone who works with young people in a one-to-one environment. This programme promotes the benefits of effective one-to-ones and how to successfully engage young people so they buy-into the process.

During the course you will explore

• Building relationships
• Creating positive atmospheres
• The value of using an experiential learning cycle for both yourself and young people
• How to enhance your range of skills and techniques for facilitating planning and goal setting, reviewing and transferring learning
• How to ensure an exchange of experience between staff and young people to raise confidence and gain optimum learning

Duration: One-day 9.30am - 4.30pm
